Perspectives Photo Artistry, Inc. was started by Amanda L. Friend-Romero in 2002. In its 9th year, PPA has grown to included Sam Romero as the primary photographer and several other local emerging photographers as assistants. In 2004, the couple moved to Chicago so Sam could pursue his graduate degree at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Currently, the couple reside in Lakeland, Florida with their two children, Uriah (8) and Mari-Enedina (2). Sam is an interdisciplinary artist and a professor of graphic design and fine art at Florida Southern College.
